Now there is a change especially in… Continue reading IPL 2024 Shane... Former New Zealand fast bowler Shane Bond has been appointed as Assistant Coach and Fast Bowling Coach by Rajasthan Royals. Bond was previously the bowling coach of Mumbai Indians and worked as a bowling coach for New Zealand between 2012 and 2015. While welcoming Bond, Rajasth Royals Cricket Director Kumar Sangakkara said that he has worked in the IPL and India for many years and is well-aware of franchise cricket. Bond himself expressed his enthusiasm for the new role and said it would be a great opportunity for the team.

However, it is believed that this time the IPL may start at the end of March and before that the auction is expected to be held in December. Rajasthan Royals appointed Shane Bond as bowling coach

Former New Zealand fast bowler Shane Bond has been announced as Assistant Coach and Fast Bowling Coach by Rajasthan Royals. Shane Bond was earlier playing the role of bowling coach of Mumbai Indians. Bond was known for his speed when he played. He also worked as a bowling coach for New Zealand between 2012 and 2015. When Shane Bond was the bowling coach of New Zealand, the New Zealand team managed to reach the final of the ICC ODI World Cup 2015 in the year 2015. After this he was associated with Mumbai Indians in IPL. He coached the team for nine seasons, during which Mumbai Indians won the title four times.

Shane Bond is very happy to join Rajasthan

While welcoming Shane Bond, Rajasthan Royals Cricket Director Kumar Sangakkara said that Shane is one of the greatest fast bowlers. He has the experience of guiding some of the best players. They have a treasure of essential knowledge. Sangakkara said that he has worked in the IPL and India for many years and is well aware of franchise cricket. On the other hand Shane Bond himself said on joining Rajasthan Royals that it is a great franchise which is committed to perform well. The team’s bowling group has an excellent mix of young and experienced players. It will be wonderful to work with him.
